Deck — Food For Our Children

“The impact of the Food For Our Children Weekend Food Program is substantial here at Hope Elementary School. Approximately one third of our population receives the food bags each Friday. The students look forward to receiving it. Families have told me how important the food bags are to their children. Some children love to have their ‘own’ food, while some share it with siblings.

In a time when emotional health is as important as ever, this constant support in the students’ lives adds to their stability. This is above and beyond the fact that no child should go unfed.”
